Sterile Processing Technician Sterile Processing

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM; no weekends. On-call as needed.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
• Certifications: (HSPA) CRCST or CBSPD and BLS.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the Central Processing Department and the Operating Room regarding supplies and equipment.
• Assess the needs of surgeons and OR staff to improve workflow and processes.
• Ensure timely and complete instrument flow to the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with departments to facilitate efficient case flow and improve procedures.
• Organize daily activities regarding surgical instrumentation management.
• Assist in troubleshooting instrument issues as needed.
