  • About the Role Mercor is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to support a leading AI lab in advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems. This engagement focuses on diagnosing and solving real issues in your domain. It's an opportunity to contribute your expertise to cutting-edge AI research. Key Responsibilities - You’ll be asked to create tasks and deliverables regarding common requests within your professional domain Required Qualifications - 4+ years professional experience in your respective field - Minimum 20 hours per week required , with flexibility to scale up to 30+ hours Additional Information - Project start date : immediately, lasting for around approximately 4-5 weeks - Payment : task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
