Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. As the Controller, you will have the responsibility of supervising the accounting functions, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency. Working closely with the CFO, you will provide valuable assistance on strategic matters such as budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and internal control.
Your expertise in financial management will be put to use as you develop and implement policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes, and related activities. You will have the opportunity to establish procedures that streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. With your keen eye for detail, you will evaluate operational results and find potential areas for increased profitability. Your analysis will guide decision-making and help shape the future direction of the club.
