Conversational AI & Voice AI Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Conversational AI / Voice AI Engineer to design, develop, and optimize voice and chat AI solutions. The role requires Arabic proficiency and hands-on experience delivering production-ready conversational AI solutions

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize conversational AI and voice AI agents for customer-facing use cases.
• Build and configure AI agents using conversational/voice AI platforms.
• Develop and optimize prompts, system instructions, conversation flows, and AI guardrails.
• Design and implement voicebots, chatbots, and multi-turn conversational experiences.
• Configure and optimize RAG, knowledge bases, retrieval strategies, and AI responses.
• Integrate conversational AI solutions using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Troubleshoot, test, and continuously improve agent behavior, response quality, latency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, CX specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, conversational AI, voice AI, chatbot development, or a related technical field.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• English proficiency at least at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering production conversational AI and/or voice AI solutions.
• Experience with ElevenLabs Agents or comparable platforms such as Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Google CCAI, Azure AI, Cognigy, Kore.ai, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, AI guardrails, conversation design, and agent optimization.
• Practical experience with RAG, knowledge optimization, and knowledge-base tuning.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and webhooks.
• Experience with Genesys integrations and live-agent handoff.
• Experience designing and implementing voice and chat conversational flows.
• Understanding of intents, context, turn-taking, fallback handling, and escalation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
