The successful candidate will contribute to a well-functioning laboratory environment, indirectly supporting patient care through meticulous administrative tasks. This position involves managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting laboratory staff in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the seamless flow of administrative duties within the laboratory. Key Responsibilities Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support daily laboratory operations. Manage and organize laboratory documentation, records, and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with data entry, report generation, and maintenance of administrative information systems. Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for laboratory staff as needed. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, professionally. Order and maintain office supplies and assist with inventory management for administrative needs. Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures within the laboratory setting. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) or electronic health records (EHR). Knowledge of medical terminology. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
