Key Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate inventory of medical, nursing, and facility supplies.

• Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute supplies to appropriate departments.

• Monitor inventory levels and prepare supply orders as needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with routine inventory counts.

• Ensure supplies are properly stored, labeled, and rotated according to facility procedures.

• Monitor expiration dates and remove expired or damaged supplies.

• Communicate with vendors and assist with deliveries and supply discrepancies.

• Keep the central supply area clean, organized, and secure.

• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies when handling and storing supplies.

• Work closely with nursing and other departments to address supply needs promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in healthcare, inventory, central supply, or a similar role preferred.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift, move, and organize supply boxes and materials as required.

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.

• Knowledge of medical supplies and skilled nursing facility operations is a plus.
