Janitorial Supervisor - Sno isles

Summary of Role:

The Night Supervisor supports the Jr Operations manager and janitor staff across multiple sites in Snohomish area. This role requires a background in professional janitorial services, strong self-motivation, minimal supervision, and a customer service mindset. It serves as a steppingstone to the Operations team and reports directly to the Junior Operations Manager. Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday 4:30 pm - 1:00 am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and coordinate team efforts.

• Conduct quality control inspections at all assigned buildings to ensure cleaning standards are met.

• Train new hires, ensuring compliance with cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

• Ensure new hires are trained in payroll/timecard system with compliance in clocking in and out of shifts.

• Inspect janitorial equipment for proper function and ensure staff are adequately trained in its use and basic care.

• Assist the Jr Operations Manager with scheduling work orders, coordinating coverage, cover shift changes for janitorial staff, and resolve janitorial team operational issues efficiently.

• Perform and support cleaning duties as needed, including scrubbing floors mechanically, high dusting, interior and exterior window cleaning, carpet cleaning and strip and wax floors.

• Track inventory of cleaning chemicals, equipment, janitorial supplies and report to the Jr Ops Manager.

• Execute tasks as directed, track completion, and provide proof of service before and after pictures.

• Conduct monthly safety training with employees

• Coordinate with the Jr. Operations Manager to plan and execute the annual projects schedule for the contracts in charge; this includes any project that comes up unexpectedly in a timely manner.

• Ensure proper use and care of the company-assigned vehicle

• Maintain a valid driver’s license

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information and operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, operate equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be comfortable working at heights and able to safely climb and work from ladders.

• Ability to withstand odors emitted by cleaning materials and chemicals while using proper PPE.

• The successful candidate must acknowledge the risks associated with hazardous chemicals and be willing to review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to identify hazards to determine appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) prior to use.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Use App technology on iOS/Android devices

• Ability to send and respond to emails using Microsoft software

Badging and Background Check Requirements:

• Badges and keys are typically issued to employees for access to Federal, State, City, or County properties. A successful background check is required for access to these sites and to maintain employment with Del Sol Inc.
