About the Role:
Siriboe Protection Service LLC is looking for a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team in Short Hills, NJ. This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining safety, order, and peace of mind for clients and the communities we serve. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or disturbances
- Conduct regular security checks of buildings, entrances, and perimeters
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Enforce facility rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors, employees, and tenants
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Security Officer registration or license preferred
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is a plus
- Strong observational and situational awareness skills
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
