Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center in Fargo, ND is looking for full- or part-time Vet Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will help our doctors and staff care for pets during emergencies.GREAT PAYThe pay for this full- or part-time position starts at $18 per hour and may be higher with experience. As a full- or part-time Vet Assistant, you will usually work 3 - 4 days a week. Some shifts will be on weekends, holidays, or overnight. You need to be flexible with your schedule.As a full- or part-time Vet Assistant, you will help care for sick or injured pets. You will support the doctors and technicians during exams and treatments. You will get supplies ready, help with patient check-ins and check-outs, and keep the hospital clean. You will talk with pet owners in person and on the phone. You will help during procedures like ultrasounds and surgeries, keep records, handle pets carefully, clean tools and equipment, and help keep the hospital stocked.
