Equipment Engineer

Job Title: Equipment Engineer Location: Portland OR Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire with comprehensive benefits Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $85K - 115KSchedule: First Shift Acara Solutions is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support manufacturing equipment, maintenance, and process technology. This role focuses on equipment reliability, uptime, safety, yield, cost reduction, and engineering projects. About the Opportunity:-Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance.-Analyze equipment performance, failures, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.-Improve equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, and operating procedures.-Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.-Identify opportunities to reduce repair, spare-part, utility, and operating costs.-Support equipment-related yield issues and process improvements.-Address equipment safety, code, health, and regulatory requirements.-Develop and review energy-control procedures.-Develop project proposals, specifications, scopes of work, and funding requests.-Lead engineering or cross-functional projects, including vendors and contractors.-Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance.-Maintain project documentation, maintenance requirements, and spare-parts lists.-Provide technical guidance to engineers and maintenance personnel.-Work in cleanroom and manufacturing environments, including areas with electrical, chemical, and stored-energy hazards. What You'll Do: What You'll Bring:-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.-2 years minimum experience with Equipment Engineering, Reliability, Troubleshooting, and Project Management experience What Sets You Apart:-Equipment engineering, reliability, troubleshooting, and project management experience.-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.-Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, and operations.-Experience with chemical supply and wet-cleaning systems is a plus.-Ability to work safely in manufacturing/cleanroom environments.-Leads engineering projects and develops technical/design solutions.
