Job description
- Responsible for packing the finished product in cases/ boxes after product has been determined to be in perfect conditions.
- General housekeeping, maintaining a clean and orderly work area to be in compliance with GMP and SQF Food Safety standards.
- Responsible for supplying products, jars, and caps to assigned production line.
- Keep all work area in compliance with housekeeping guidelines and free of any object that might contaminate product.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Responsible for use of correct packaging material and printing of labels.
- Has good communication skills with co-workers.
- Responsible for adherence to the production schedule
- Follow/Lead/Demonstrate Olam’s Safety and Quality principles
- Perform other related duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Preferred food manufacturing environment
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred
- Ability to work with positive attitude in a high stress environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Flexible availability to work Saturdays due to business needs
The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $17.65/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location
