Role:Injection Molding Process Engineer
Location:Greater Phoenix, AZ.Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $45-50/Hr on W2
Job Description:
Hands-on Process Engineer responsible for scientific molding, injection molding process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation in a medical device manufacturing environment. Support molding equipment/tooling performance, production operations, process improvements, and technical issue resolution. Lead process characterization, DOE, validation protocols, and technical documentation while collaborating with operations, leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
Required:
Hands-on scientific molding/injection molding process development, troubleshooting, and optimization
DOE design & analysis using Minitab, process characterization, IQ/OQ/PQ, and CPK/PPK
Root cause analysis, control plans, inspection plans, and technical protocol/documentation writing
Strong cross-functional communication skills
Preferred:
Manufacturing robotics and automation
Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement
Metrology experience in regulated manufacturing
