Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant will support licensed therapists in providing rehabilitative services and patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards to promote recovery and mobility.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapies.
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with facility guidelines.
Set up and operate therapy equipment provided during the interview process.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and clinical standards.
Communicate effectively with patients to support their rehabilitation goals.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and adhere to dress code policies.
Qualifications:
Hold an active license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Demonstrate experience in setting up and managing therapy equipment.
Possess knowledge of documentation and clinical standards for therapy services.
Be able to work days, with availability to meet a 13-26 week commitment.
Exhibit strong communication and patient interaction skills.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
