HR Business Partner

Alcott HR is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as the primary point of contact for clients with high volume and/or complex business needs. The HRBP will manage day-to-day Human Resources activities for clients and their worksite employees. They will grow the client relationship by providing consultation, guidance, and problem resolution within the assigned client portfolio. Additionally, the HRBP will contribute to Alcott's process improvement and change management initiatives.Here's what you'll do: Serve as the primary contact for clients' human resources needs, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local lawsProvide account management for clients with high volume and/or complex business needs as it relates to Alcott's servicesDevelop and maintain effective business relationships with clientsConduct client visits (virtual and in-person) to develop and enhance client satisfaction. Some local travel is required, out of state travel possibleAct as a resource and advisor to clients on human resources matters such as employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, coaching, leave of absence, employee complaints/investigations, and exit strategies/terminationManage employee handbook creation, facilitate training initiatives, and support development of clients' policies and proceduresDemonstrate proficiency and confidence with technology applications and other tools necessary to perform the role and to assist other team membersProvide product information and facilitate introductions for technology and Alcott service solutions based on analysis of client needs.Support human resource processes and procedures to ensure accurate, timely and consistent service delivery to clientsWork collaboratively across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, Workers' Compensation/Risk, Tax, and other teams to resolve complex client issues and promote a positive, teamwork first work environment.Ensure a smooth transition from implementation for new clients Serve as an advocate for enhancement efforts, actively participating in team projects designed to develop/enhance tools and practicesDemonstrate leadership within the scope of the role to inspire others within the department and across service teamsAttend HR meetings and participate in HR educational workshops. Research and present HR topics of interest at staff meetingsConduct training for incoming HR staff in areas of expertiseParticipate in special projects within the HR departmentPartner with senior leadership by escalating client issues, concerns or complex scenarios that require higher-level decision-makingOther duties as assignedQualifications & Skills:Minimum of 5 years of HR professional experienceBachelor's degree (business administration or human resources) preferredPHR or SHRM-CP certified is preferredUnderstanding of Human Resource segment business challengesKnowledge of Human Resources including but not limited to General HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Risk Management, Retirement Services, and Client Support.Previous PEO industry and/or client service delivery experience are idealExceptional interpersonal skills and effective conflict resolutionExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with complex problem resolutionAbility to manage high volume and complex client needsAbility to work with c-suite and executive level partners Understanding of the importance of integrity and keeping confidentiality Able to conduct presentations and perform demos as neededProficient written communications skillsCRM skills requiredAdept at learning new technologyCompensation: $65,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience About Alcott HRAt Alcott HR, we have a Passion for People and Performance™.
