Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Experience Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity.

The Customer Experience Associate is responsible for creating a positive experience for every customer who visits or contacts Restaurant Marketplace. This position interacts directly with customers, answers questions, recommends products and services, processes purchases, and helps resolve customer concerns

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can learn product information quickly, communicates clearly, and takes pride in providing helpful, knowledgeable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and warmly when they enter the facility.
• Create a welcoming, helpful, and positive customer experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries in person, by telephone, and by email.
• Assist customers with product selection by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products or services.
• Explain product features, benefits, and applications clearly and simply.
• Demonstrate products and explain their proper use when appropriate.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and assist customers with checkout.
• Answer customer questions and resolve concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Maintain current knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by using professional, solution-oriented communication.
• Anticipate customer needs and identify opportunities to provide additional assistance or product recommendations.
• Document customer interactions and communicate relevant information to appropriate team members when necessary.
• Follow company health, safety, and facility policies.
• Participate in training and other learning opportunities provided by the organization.
• Work cooperatively with customers, coworkers, and management to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to explain products, services, and processes clearly and simply.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Willingness to learn the company's products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and/or point-of-sale systems is helpful.
• Previous customer service, retail, sales, or foodservice experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
