Job Summary: The Syracuse Quality Manager is responsible for evaluating the quality process and assisting with quality system development and the continuous support of quality product improvements. This is an on-site position and reports to the Sr. Director of Global Quality. You will make a difference in the following ways:
What you bring: Bachelor's in Engineering; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred Minimum of 2yrs experience in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of manufacturing process quality control, troubleshooting, CAPA systems, and gauging methodologies. Solid understanding of statistical process control (SPC), process capability analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all organizational levels. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis software. Ability to maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented and culturally diverse workplace.
