The mission of the Louisiana Board of Drug and Device Distributors is to safeguard life and health and to promote public welfare of all citizens by the licensing and regulation of entities engaging in the distribution of legend drugs or legend devices within and into the state of Louisiana. The Pharmacist-Compliance Officer protects Louisiana's prescription drug and device supply chain through inspections, investigations, compliance guidance, and enforcement support. The position requires strong pharmaceutical and regulatory knowledge, investigative skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective communication. This unique opportunity allows a pharmacist to move beyond traditional practice and directly impact statewide public health, regulatory policy, and patient safety while working with the Board and state and federal partners. The ideal candidate must be willing to undertake periodic overnight travel within the state of Louisiana.
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice pharmacy plus three years of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
