About the Role

LegalEASE is looking for a Data Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure and reporting solutions that support our business as we continue to grow. In this role, you'll transform data from multiple sources into meaningful insights that guide operational, product, and leadership decisions. You'll work in an Agile environment, partnering closely with software engineering, product, and business stakeholders to turn raw data into clear, actionable direction for the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies
  • Develop data pipelines and analytics that deliver business value; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data insights with organizational goals and strategies
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, quality, and uptime by adhering to best practices in data handling and validation, and prevent overages or errors in data queries
  • Create and maintain clear, accurate, and impactful reports and visualizations, tailoring presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Perform routine data audits and cleanup
  • Test and develop internal tools, and optimize semantic models for data querying and scalability
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity through data analysis, contributing to strategic initiatives and business growth
  • Maintain accountability for completing assigned work increments as determined by your manager
  • Stay current on best practices for the technologies critical to this role

What You'll Bring

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data extraction and transformation

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Python, Spark notebooks, Copilot Studio, Git, and APIs
  • Experience with Data Lakes and large datasets, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and analytics platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL (MySQL), or other data manipulation tools
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and actionable manner
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques and tools
  • Prior experience supporting strategic initiatives with data insights

Our Offering:

  • Culture built on Trust, Respect, and Integrity
  • Environment that supports the personal drive for excellence
  • Access to robust health insurance and legal benefit plans
  • Paid vacation
  • Free Fitness Center on property
  • 401 (k) Retirement plan

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Candidate must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
  • A criminal background investigation is conducted on every Legal Access Plans employee.
  • All job requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves or other employees.

AAP/EEO Statement:
Legal Access Plans is an equal opportunity employer.
