Role Title: Litigation Attorney (Shareholder / LLC)

micro1 is engaging Litigation Attorneys (Shareholder / LLC) to contribute their expertise to an innovative project for a customer, focusing on litigation work related to shareholder and LLC disputes. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Draft litigation documents—including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials—responsive to evolving commercial dispute scenarios, all under senior direction.
- Develop and update case theory and strategy consistently across multiple turns based on emerging facts and instructions.
- Identify and articulate rubric criteria, detailing what constitutes a strong and effective legal response at each stage.
- Incorporate feedback and direction from senior professionals efficiently, refining submissions without extensive iteration.
- Highlight ambiguities, missing information, or procedural hurdles for resolution by senior contributors or project leads.
- Operate exclusively with public or synthetic case materials, maintaining confidentiality and legal best practices.
- Adapt deliverables to simulate real-world litigation assignments as you would for a supervising partner’s review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed attorney with current or previous bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years' direct litigation experience, including hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice within the post-JD period.
- Specialized background in Shareholder/LLC litigation, including disputes among owners or between owners and entities: fiduciary duty, oppression, buyouts, and governance issues.
- Demonstrated expertise producing high-quality work product for shareholder/LLC dispute matters.
- Exceptional written English skills and fluency in legal drafting and argumentation.
- Ability to synthesize direction and feedback swiftly, maintaining a high standard across complex litigation scenarios.
- Experience in federal court practice, multiple matter types, or prior participation in AI training/evaluation projects is beneficial.
