Job Title Radiation Therapist Job Summary Join a dedicated Radiation Oncology team in Glendale, California, as a Radiation Therapist. This role involves delivering high-quality radiation treatments to patients undergoing cancer therapy within a dynamic clinical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately positioning patients, operating advanced radiation therapy equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy accurately and safely. Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment. Perform precise patient positioning, immobilization, and treatment verification procedures. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during treatment and provide appropriate support. Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records and documentation. Collaborate effectively with the radiation oncology team, including physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists. Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist in a specialty setting. Specialty in Radiation Oncology. Preferred Qualifications Not specified. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and associated treatment delivery systems. Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles, patient safety, and quality assurance. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
