About the Position

Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026 (ASAP start preferred)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Call requirements include one week of weekday call every two months (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM following regular shift) and one weekend of 24-hour call coverage every two months. Call volume is generally low, with most call-ins for pacemaker cases lasting approximately 2 hours.

  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Epic and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required
  • Proficiency in specialized EP procedures including cardiac ablation, mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, and AICD programming
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership position)
  • Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
