Our operations depend on disciplined maintenance and fast, accurate troubleshooting. You’ll partner with a Maintenance Supervisor and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance that keep people safe and production steady.
Role Basics
- Location: Richmond, CA
- Schedule: Day shift; overtime and call-outs when needed
- Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
- Compensation: $51.03/hr initially; progresses to $54.30/hr after 3 months
Compensation is influenced by role, level, and location. The posted amount reflects the starting hourly rate for new hires. Actual pay may vary by work location and additional factors such as relevant skills, experience, and education/training. Details for your preferred site will be reviewed in the hiring process, and some facilities operate with Collective Bargaining Agreements. U.S. postings list base hourly pay only and exclude benefits, pension contributions, overtime, shift premiums, and other incentives.
What You’ll Do
- Open and clean tank vessels safely and efficiently
- Perform certified welding, cutting, and burning
- Repair and overhaul pumps, gearboxes, and motors
- Carry out coupling and sheave alignment to spec
- Replace piping and valves as required
- Support general plant maintenance and housekeeping
- Participate in the emergency response team
- Execute work orders and documentation for maintenance, safety, and PM in line with SOPs
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/chemical settings (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Fluency with Microsoft applications, a CMMS, and email
- Ability to interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturers’ references, and schematics/diagrams
- Readiness for periodic off-shift emergency call-outs, including weekends and holidays
- Capability to work outdoors in all weather and at heights while using PPE
Medical Requirement
