Route Team Leader (TN, Pulaski)

We are seeking a Retail Team Leader to support our retail merchandising operations at the branch or division level. The Retail Team Leader plays a key role in supporting retail route operations, ensuring merchandising excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and compliance. This position acts as a relief retail merchandiser during vacations, training, and open routes while helping train and coach team members to deliver best-in-class service and execution.
Key responsibilities include assisting the Retail Team Manager and division leadership with daily retail route operations, ensuring service quality, compliance, and profitability; providing coaching, training, and feedback to retail merchandisers; filling in for open or vacation routes; loading, delivering, and merchandising a variety of products; verifying orders, reconciling variances, and following operational procedures; executing all plan-o-grams, promotions, and retail initiatives; replenishing, rotating, and displaying products; maintaining freshness and quality of perishable products; cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining vending and micro-market equipment; collecting and reconciling cash and coin collections; monitoring product inventory; conducting minor equipment maintenance; maintaining assigned company vehicles; supporting customer retention through excellent communication, timely service, and professionalism; adhering to all company safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling policies; promoting and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of retail operations, merchandising, or route experience; a valid drivers license and clean driving record; the ability to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check; the ability to lift 50 pounds; the ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route; and being 21 to meet DOT requirements.
