Title: Design Draftsman / Tool Design
Compensation: $25/hour
Shift/Working Hours: Monday- Thursday 6 AM-4:30 PM
About the role: PrideStaff is partnering with a manufacturing leader to find a Design Draftsman / Tool Design professional. This role oversees the creation and accuracy of technical drawings, tool designs, and component specifications for custom and standard product lines.
What you will do:
Prepare and verify technical layouts, detail drawings, bills of materials, and engineering changes to meet industry standards.
Create design drawings for jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling used in component manufacturing.
Maintain drawing files, technical records, and support quality compliance under ISO standards.
What you will bring:
Associate degree in Drafting or equivalent practical work experience.
Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks, CAD software, engineering drawing management systems, and i5 BOM systems.
Strong working knowledge of basic hand measuring tools and Microsoft Office applications.
