The position of Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting with the accounting and financial reporting of the Company. This position reports to a Senior Financial Reporting Manager as well as collaborating with other members of the accounting staff on a range of matters, such as monthly GL close including preparation of schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, SEC reporting, regulatory reporting, or other assigned projects. This position also ensures compliance with SOX, all policies, procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
In addition to the above, the individual selected for this Sr. Accountant role will play a role in supporting the company's reconciliations within Oracle ARCS, which is used to monitor the completeness and accuracy of all GL reconciliations performed throughout the company. Duties may include administration, project coordination, user training and support, and participation in system enhancement initiatives.
