Are you an experienced Automotive Service Advisor who knows how to take care of customers, communicate repairs clearly, and keep a busy automotive repair shop moving?

Precision Auto Repair is a 20-year, family-owned auto repair shop in West Springfield, MA with a second location in South Windsor, CT. We’ve been voted a Top Auto Repair Shop for 10 straight years, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

We're looking for someone who can build relationships with customers, confidently present recommended repairs and maintenance, manage the repair process from start to finish, and work closely with our technicians to deliver an excellent customer experience.

About the Role:

As an Automotive Service Advisor at Precision Auto Repair, you'll be the primary connection between our customers and technicians.

You'll help customers understand what's happening with their vehicles, explain repair and maintenance recommendations, prepare estimates, communicate throughout the repair process, and make sure each customer receives professional and transparent service.

This isn't a high-pressure sales position. We're looking for someone who understands that great automotive sales come from communication, education, trust, and follow-through.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or automotive customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to confidently explain automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Comfortable presenting estimates and asking customers to authorize recommended work.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders at the same time.
• Strong phone and in-person communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working with computers and automotive shop management software.
• Basic understanding of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to work closely with technicians and communicate information accurately.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• Valid driver's license.
• References.
• Desire to learn, improve, and grow with the company.
