Ultrasound Technician – Vascular

Location: Plainview, TX
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Travel Pay: $2,100–$2,200/week, based on experience
Local Pay: $45–$50/hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Shift: Day
• Hours: 4x10 hours
• Option 1: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Option 2: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Call: Required

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent experience performing both general and vascular ultrasound examinations and be proficient in vascular studies, Doppler, duplex imaging, and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Conduct vascular studies, including Doppler and duplex imaging.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and comfort throughout examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and examination records.
• Follow established safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance procedures.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment appropriately.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and healthcare staff.
• Participate in required call coverage.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a General/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist.
• Recent experience performing general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Proficiency in vascular imaging, Doppler, and duplex studies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
