Summary:
-
Visually inspects in-process and completed products including electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.

Uses various measuring devices including dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, and fixtures for dimensional verification.

Works from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.

Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems based on inspection criteria.

Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Uses predetermined methods, operations, and setups for inspection activities.

Verifies product conformance to design requirements and specifications.
-
Identifies and documents non-conformances per applicable procedures.

Reads and interprets engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Uses precision measuring instruments for dimensional and functional inspection.
Requirements:
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Experience visually inspecting in-process and completed electronic and electromechanical products.

Experience using various measuring devices including dial indicators, micrometers, and scales.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and inspection instructions.

Experience with accept, reject, or rework decision-making for defective units.

Experience with statistical process control or other quality control procedures.
-
Experience working from customer specifications and drawing instructions.

Knowledge of inspection checklists and predetermined methods and setups.

Ability to verify dimensional and functional conformance to specifications.

Ability to identify and document non-conformances per applicable procedures.
