Process Cooling and Ammonia Systems Service Technician

Our mechanical services team is expanding, and we are investing in technicians who want to grow. As a Process Cooling and Ammonia Systems Service Technician, you will partner with major food and beverage producers, cold storage operators, pharmaceutical facilities, manufacturers, and process plants to keep critical refrigeration assets running at their best.

Your impact

• Keep production moving by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs on industrial refrigeration equipment
• Service ammonia refrigeration systems; for the right candidate, structured NH3 training is provided
• Diagnose and correct problems in refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and control systems
• Produce accurate work orders, service documentation, and customer reports on schedule
• Plan your day efficiently and communicate proactively with customers
• Champion safety and adhere to company policies and industry regulations
• Operate independently while delivering exceptional service quality

What sets you up for success

• Background in industrial or commercial refrigeration service
• Ammonia experience preferred; we will train qualified techs eager to learn
• Understanding of commercial HVAC, ventilation, heating systems, and controls
• Freon refrigeration experience is beneficial
• Refrigeration or HVAC apprenticeship (or equivalent hands-on experience) preferred
• Safety-first mindset; OSHA 30, fall protection, arc flash, or similar credentials are a plus
• Clean driving record
• Sharp troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and strong customer focus
• Desire to participate in ongoing technical training and professional development
