Customer Service Representative / Marketer

Our Santa Clarita office is looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Marketer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, solving problems, and creating a positive customer experience. The successful candidate will support both customer service and business growth, working closely with the agency team to retain existing customers, identify opportunities to meet additional customer needs, generate referrals, and connect with prospective customers.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Relationship Management

Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience during every customer interaction.

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing customers.

Respond to customer questions and concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism.

Follow up with customers to ensure their needs have been addressed and resolved.

Thank customers for their business and consistently look for opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.

Assist with customer appreciation efforts, including birthday cards, welcome letters, and thank-you communications.

Help coordinate annual customer review appointments with account executives.

Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up.

Sales & Marketing

Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional products and services that may benefit them.

Proactively reach out to existing customers and prospective customers.

Follow up with prospective customers and maintain consistent contact throughout the sales process.

Request referrals from satisfied customers and express appreciation for their business.

Collect and track renewal/expiration dates from new customers and prospects for future follow-up.

Schedule customer and prospect appointments for the agency team.

Conduct outbound calls using established scripts, campaigns, and agency priorities.

Assist with marketing communications, including postcards, letters, and customer outreach campaigns.

Organization & Agency Support

Maintain accurate customer and policy information in agency systems.

Keep customer profiles, notes, appointments, and contact records current and organized.

Monitor assigned activities, alerts, follow-ups, and marketing tasks.

Review cancellation and renewal information regularly and initiate appropriate customer follow-up.

Document customer interactions and follow-up activities accurately.

Maintain monthly activity and sales records for management review.

Meet production, appointment-setting, and customer service goals established by the agent or agency manager.

Stay current on products, services, procedures, and agency initiatives.

Continuously develop professional, customer service, communication, and business skills.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience.
