Job description

We’re seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a 2nd Shift role to work at a premier medical device manufacturing organization in Chelmsford, MA.

  • Pay Rate: $20.35/hour
  • 2nd Shift: 3PM to 11PM


Job Description:

  • Verifying procured materials, sub-assemblies, finished products, and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Performing visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and electrical testing for product conformance.
  • Utilizing inspection tools such as Vision Systems, Verniers, Micrometers, Rulers, Oscilloscopes, DVMs, Power Supplies, Defib/Pacer Analyzers, and custom fixtures.
  • Documenting inspection and test results according to established procedures.
  • Maintaining quality documentation files, including Device History Records (DHR) and Inspection History Records.
  • Processing returned material in accordance with company procedures.
  • Reading and interpreting documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), schematics, technical drawings, PDAs, and ECOs.

Requirements:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Possess 1-3 years of experience in a related quality control or inspection role (required).
  • Are able to read specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings.
  • Are familiar with the use of mechanical and electronic test equipment.
  • Have basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office; Oracle and MES experience preferred.
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs and are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • IPC-A-610D certification for Incoming Inspection is preferred but not required.
