Position Summary
The Dishwasher Team Member plays an important role in keeping the
restaurant clean, safe, organized, and operating efficiently. This position is
responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, and
other items used in daily restaurant operations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, organized, and takes
pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Dishwasher Team
Member understands that their work directly supports the kitchen Team and
contributes to an excellent Guest experience.

Primary Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Sanitation
- Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing equipment according to established procedures.
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary clutter.
- Maintain adequate supplies of clean dishes and equipment for the kitchen Team.
- Clean sinks, floors, walls, drains, shelves, and other areas associated with the dish station.
- Properly handle cleaning chemicals and follow all sanitation procedures.
- Follow all food safety and health department requirements.
Restaurant Support
- Assist the kitchen Team by ensuring clean equipment and utensils are available when needed.
- Help with cleaning and maintaining other areas of the restaurant as assigned.
- Properly dispose of trash and waste.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and other restaurant cleaning duties.
- Report broken equipment, damaged dishes, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to leadership.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for Team Members and Guests.
Teamwork & Hospitality
- Work cooperatively with the kitchen and front-of-house Teams.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with Team Members and leadership.
- Respond to requests promptly and maintain a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate Chick-fil-A hospitality and a willingness to serve others.
- Understand that every position contributes to the Guest experience.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required

Preferred (although not mandatory)
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures.
Physical Requirements
The Dishwasher Team Member should be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, reach, and lift as required.
- Repeatedly handle dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Work around hot water, steam, grease, and kitchen equipment.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and appropriate protective equipment.
- Lift and carry items within the restaurant's established safety limits (50lbs) on a regular basis.

The Dishwasher Team Member is an essential part of the restaurant's

Starting Pay: $12 Per Hour
