Really, I'm a family of four. Hi! I work full time and handle the heavy mental workload of our household. Our "House Spouse", my wife, has multiple chronic illnesses that keeps them from working outside the home. We have 2 teenagers, 1 of which is in High School and College simultaneously, plus 5 cats. Our housework has gotten away from us and we need help with both the catch up/deep cleaning and the regular stuff too. Your help might look like cleaning out the fridge, including interior cleaning or helping organize the basement for better access. You might be asked to move the laundry or help sort and move boxes of items for donation. You also might be asked to help with litter pans or cleaning cat food dishes. My plan is to have someone in 4-5 hours a week in the beginning to help focus on the deep cleaning tasks that have been skipped for a long time, and as the house becomes cleaner and more organized, we'll need to taper down. My wife will be home when you are working, and depending upon the time, one or both of the kids might be as well, though I will work to avoid that. We live in an old lady, and sometimes she requires special attention or products. We need you to be flexible in the products you use or how a task is approached. I think I have all necessary cleaning supplies, but will be able to procure items if something is missing. Lastly, you must be LGBTQ friendly. Our home is our safe space. Anyone interested will be asked in for a trial run of a couple hours. This is mostly a vibe check to ensure you can work well with the chaos creature that is my wife. (Did I mention they're AuDHD?
