Construction Assistant Superintendent
Client is a top commercial construction general contractor with a mixed commercial construction portfolio.
Job Description
Assist in managing daily on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project progress and quality standards. Monitor and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide construction activities. Communicate project updates and challenges to the Superintendent and project team. Inspect work to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards. Support in resolving on-site issues and making adjustments as needed. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Assistant Superintendent should have: Experience with on-site construction management and coordination. Knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges promptly.
