Electrical Estimator

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Electrical Estimator in our Des Moines Office.

Conducts high-level estimation and leads bidding process for small to mid-scale construction projects.

Estimating: Prepares and assembles estimates within the department. Delegates estimating duties to engineers as required to maintain the bid schedule.

Database Management: Maintains database of project history and results. Ensures accuracy and integrity of system software, providing all users with updated information.

Procedures: Develops conceptual plan and specification bid procedures and standards to improve consistency and efficiency of the estimating process.

Client Bid Management: Develops successful client relationships, marketing company products and services. Solicits bid schedules from general contractors.

2+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects or 5+ years of electrical field experience.

Associate's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Technical Electrical Training Program Completion.
