AVMAC was founded by two former Naval Aviation Maintenance Officers, Bert Ortiz and Don Buzard, who collectively have more than eight decades of experience assigned to, or directly supporting, both carrier and amphibious aviation. AVMAC's corporate staff and leadership team employ many with similar backgrounds and experience, which makes it a highly knowledgeable force multiplier to their customer base. The company prides itself on hiring, recruiting and training veterans as it continues to serve the Department of Defense and the Department of Transportation Homeland Security and commercial customers nationwide.
The Supply Technician is responsible for handling specific technical supply management duties, including inventory control, storage, cataloging, and property utilization within Navy supply operations. It requires familiarity with Naval Supply systems, policies, and procedures, as well as analytical skills to resolve logistical issues. Aviation Supply Specialists focus on meeting aviation-related logistical needs through functions such as financial and inventory management, material handling, facility oversight, and requisition processing, ensuring timely and accurate customer support.
