Your Contributions to the Team:This entry-level position is the starting point for career progression within the Production team at GloryBee! We are seeking a "new-bee" to join our Production team and assist with our food processing and packaging of our quality, food ingredients such as: honey, oils, and liquid sweeteners. As a Pump and Load Specialist, you'll work at our Production Facility located at 1680 Irving Road Eugene OR. A typical work week for the Production team is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - SOME OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED.Typical tasks include:Stage honey loads for appropriate heat roomsLoad honey into the heat roomsPump honey from the heat rooms into holding tanksFollows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) requirements and safety procedures.Operates production equipment as needed safely and efficiently (fillers, scales, pumps)Follows GloryBee Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) requirementsAccurately completes required paperwork for work ordersFollows sustainable practices outlined by department leadershipRecycles and composts correctly in the appropriate containersCommunicates innovative ideas that increase efficiency, saves resources or lessens environmental impactEmbraces and participates in department Lean initiatives What We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or the equivalent1 year of production experienceMaterial handling experience a plusAbility to safely operate various pieces of equipment and hand toolsBasic math and writing skillsBasic computer skillsPositive attitude and a team playerDependability and punctualityAbility to lift up to 60 poundsAbility to become forklift certified Why You Should Join GloryBee: Dynamic, forward thinking company that is passionate about healthy living, sustainability and quality, natural ingredients and productsRewards and recognition for superior performanceCollaborative environment fostering teamwork and accountabilityExceptional benefits program including medical, dental and vision, along with healthy living reimbursements, generous 401(k) match, competitive paid time off and liberal holiday schedulesVisit our website to learn more are tobacco and drug free (to include marijuana) at GloryBee and do require pre-employment drug-screening.
