Caregiver Position at Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth
Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth is looking for a Caregiver who is responsible for providing compassionate, reliable care and assistance to clients during the first shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment
- Provides companionship
- Monitors clients for changes in condition, and communicates important observations to family members and healthcare staff.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
