Position Type: Full Time
Compensation: Pay Range:$50.00 Per HR
Description: This position involves client-facing responsibilities in a healthcare setting located in Pittsburgh, PA. It requires full-time commitment to manage pharmacy reimbursement cases, ensuring accurate and timely responses to inquiries. Essential skills include proficiency in using general pharmacy management systems and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for client inquiries and escalations.
- Process benefits investigations and verifications to ensure patient care access.
- Coordinate services with internal operations and management teams.
- Manage patient claims related to prescription drug and medical benefits.
- Resolve complex reimbursement issues independently and creatively.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in pharmacy reimbursement/insurance, including benefit investigation and verification. 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician. 1 year of experience with general pharmacy management systems. Strong communication and time management skills.
