Job Description:

Job Title : Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer GenAI & Integrations

Job Type : W2/C2C

Experience : 8-15 Years

Location : Prosper, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • 8+ years of hands-on Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
  • Strong experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, Data Model, and configuration.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SOAP/REST integrations.
  • Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI pair-programming tools.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or internal Generative AI tools.
  • Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into enterprise software engineering workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of P&C insurance business processes and the insurance lifecycle.
  • Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their practical application in software development.
  • Familiarity with SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar document-generation platforms.
  • Familiarity with Git, GitHub, SVN, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including Commercial and Personal Lines.
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, particularly PolicyCenter.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external applications and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Develop and debug solutions using Gosu, Java, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
  • Configure Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, Data Model, and application components.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase engineering productivity.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure solution quality and reliability.
  • Support QA, UAT, and production environments, including troubleshooting and defect resolution.
  • Analyze complex application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
