Senior Associate Product Manager

The Senior Associate Product Manager provides U.S.-hours product management and operational ownership for Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 automation, including the Power Platform workspaces for citizen development. (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse). This hands-on role covers configuration coordination, documentation, automated and exception-based audits, reporting, rollout management, license governance, and day-to-day operational oversight. It also supports citizen development by ensuring Copilot and M365 automation use cases are governed, documented, and aligned to the firm's operating model, and coordinates execution across U.S.- and India-based teams.

Essential Job Functions & Duties:

  • (25%) Platform Administration, Configuration Coordination, and Operational Oversight: Provide day-to-day operational ownership of Microsoft Copilot and M365 automation services, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, and the Power Platform designated workspaces within our citizen development framework (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse). Coordinate tenant, environment, connector, and citizen development workspace configuration with IT, identity, and platform engineering teams; manage access provisioning, security group and RBAC requests, user lifecycle processes, intake queues, and service health monitoring; and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Identify and implement opportunities to automate, standardize, and streamline recurring workflows.
  • (20%) License Governance, Automated Audits, and Reporting: Own license governance for Copilot and Power Platform entitlements within our citizen development workspaces, including assignment, reassignment, reclamation, eligibility criteria, renewal and true-up inputs, and cost tracking. Design, operate, and continuously improve automated and exception-based audit processes for agents, flows, apps, connectors, sharing, and permissions to confirm ownership, compliance, and continued business value. Produce adoption, usage, license utilization, support quality, and audit reporting for stakeholders and leadership, and recommend license, budget, automation, and process improvements.
  • (20%) Rollout, Release, and Change Management: Plan and manage rollouts across pilot groups, business units, and deployment waves, including readiness criteria, entry and exit gates, configuration changes, communications, training coordination, and post-release review. Monitor the Microsoft roadmap, Message Center, and release notes to evaluate new Copilot, M365, and Power Platform capabilities for enterprise fit, risk, usability, and business value, and translate approved changes into scheduled rollout and enablement activities.
  • (15%) Citizen Development Enablement and Use-Case Governance: Support citizen development by ensuring Copilot and M365 automation use cases are governed, documented, and aligned to the firm's operating model. Operate use-case intake, registration, review, and approval; maintain the solution inventory, ownership records, standards, templates, and reusable patterns; and define criteria for promoting maker-built solutions to supported status or retiring them. Partner with Learning & Enablement, Innovation, and the maker community to develop training materials, product guides, FAQs, office hours, and responsible-use resources.
  • (10%) Governance, Risk, and Responsible Use: Maintain usage policies, acceptable-use guidance, access standards, data loss prevention and environment policies, governance documentation, and operating procedures in partnership with Security, Compliance, Legal, Records, Finance, and AI governance stakeholders. Monitor for oversharing, data exposure, unapproved connectors, orphaned automations, control gaps, and emerging risks; escalate issues while balancing appropriate safeguards with usability and business enablement.
  • (10%) Product Operations, Global Delivery, and Stakeholder Communication: Provide product direction, priorities, requirements, user stories, and success criteria to India-based operations and execution teams. Coordinate sprint planning, backlog refinement, cross-time-zone handoffs, asynchronous updates, delivery reviews, dependency management, structured feedback, and blocker resolution. Support other AI Lab tools in the firm's portfolio by contributing to documentation, testing, release readiness, operational procedures, user guidance, and issue tracking as needed. Serve as a U.S.-hours escalation point for end-user and business-stakeholder issues, and communicate product status, decisions, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Perform other duties and contribute to related initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in computer science, business, information systems, or a related field
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals), PL-200, or MS-102 are preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required in product management, technical product ownership, platform operations, or a related field, including experience supporting Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, workflow automation, or comparable enterprise SaaS and business-productivity platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform suite (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse), including environments, connectors, data loss prevention policies, managed environments, and the Power Platform admin center, supporting citizen development workspace governance and operations; Microsoft 365 administration and service management; license models, entitlement governance, and cost controls; product lifecycle and backlog practices; access, provisioning, and support workflows; citizen development and low-code governance models; adoption and enablement methods; and responsible AI principles. Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, RBAC, Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, and oversharing controls is preferred.
  • Strong product judgment, requirements definition, roadmap and backlog management, stakeholder alignment, analytical problem-solving, documentation, facilitation, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to prepare product briefs, user guides, runbooks, audit and reporting packages, release communications, requirements, and leadership updates, and to use tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
  • Able to balance product thinking with hands-on operational follow-through; develop automated, repeatable audit and reporting routines with accuracy and consistency; translate user feedback into prioritized improvements; coordinate distributed teams across time zones during U.S. business hours; manage multiple priorities; and work effectively with technical, risk, finance, enablement, and business partners
