Position Summary
Seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to serve as a hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics/electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.
Required Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the full PCB design cycle involving schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testing.
- Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems and subsystems.
- Define wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicle.
- Support design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirements.
- Conduct peer-level and cross-disciplinary design reviews.
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard procedures.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated capability in circuit board design, bring-up, and validation.
- Proven experience designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal and digital circuits/components.
- Competence with common test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Experience designing electronics for robotic and/or aircraft systems.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, and firmware/software integration.
- UAV experience highly desirable.
- Experience working in small to medium-sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Familiarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessing.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Salary
$100,000 - $149,000 annually
Compensation depends on relevant work experience, education, training, critical skills, and other factors, including specialized expertise. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. Compensation ranges are provided as guidelines and are not guarantees of specific salary or bonus amounts.
