Quality Rehab Physical Therapy
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay: $28.00–$34.00 per hour, depending on experience
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible weekday schedule | No weekends!


Quality Rehab Physical Therapy is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to become part of our outpatient rehabilitation team. We are a private physical therapy practice serving the Colorado Springs community for nearly 20 years. Our clinic is built around individualized treatment, strong patient relationships, and collaboration between our therapists and support staff. Rather than operating a high-volume, rushed schedule, our clinic provides 40-minute, one-on-one treatment sessions. This allows our PTA team to concentrate on proper exercise instruction, mobility training, patient education, and progression of care.


Whether you are an experienced PTA or recently completed your program, you'll have the opportunity to continue developing your clinical skills while working alongside an experienced rehabilitation team.


Your Role


As a PTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of our Physical Therapists to carry out individualized treatment programs and help patients progress toward their functional goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Implementing treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Leading patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Assisting with mobility, strengthening, flexibility, and balance training
• Providing patient instruction and reinforcing home exercise programs
• Supporting rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, sports, and other conditions
• Monitoring patient response to treatment and communicating changes to the supervising PT
• Documenting treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment
• Building positive relationships with patients throughout their rehabilitation
• Working closely with PTs and other clinic team members to support patient outcomes

Qualifications
Required:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Colorado PTA license or eligibility for Colorado licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable and organized work habits
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Ability to safely assist, transfer, position, and mobilize patients when required
• Commitment to professional and patient-centered care

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in outpatient orthopedics or neurological rehabilitation is helpful but not required
