ROLE SUMMARY
The Office Manager at Chick-fil-A 101 & Telephone and Chick-fil-A Riverpark is responsible for managing all administrative, organizational, and office functions to support the restaurant’s daily operations. This role oversees independent contractors performing office work, supports recruiting and onboarding efforts, and ensures that team communication and documentation are accurate and timely. The Office Manager also handles general office management tasks, file maintenance, and financial documentation while supporting the People & Support Director and Owner/Operator.
This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who is flexible, proactive, and committed to excellence. While primarily an administrative role, the Office Manager may occasionally assist in restaurant operations and serve customers based on business or marketing needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative & Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure a clean, organized, and professional workspace
- Manage independent contractors performing office or administrative tasks and verify quality of work
- Maintain office supplies, technology, and general inventory to support restaurant and office operations
- Organize and maintain filing systems (digital and physical) for team member records, invoices, and operational documents
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security
- Coordinate document preparation, editing, and distribution for policies, manuals, and reports
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, take detailed notes, and distribute meeting summaries to relevant parties
Team Member Recruiting & Support
- Assist with posting job listings and managing applicant flow on multiple hiring platforms
- Screen applicants, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates in a professional and timely manner
- Support the interviewing, selection, and onboarding process for new team members
- Serve as the primary point of communication for new hires, providing uniform details, start dates, and key onboarding information
- Maintain and audit employee files to ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A and regulatory requirements
Financial & Compliance Support
- Handle cash deposit documentation and reconcile against operational records
- Assist with cash audits and report any discrepancies to the People & Support Director or Owner/Operator
- Track and process invoices, receipts, and expense reports as assigned
- Support with internal audits and maintain accurate records for compliance and inspections
Team Communication & Operations Support
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and team members, ensuring clear communication on policies and announcements
- Manage uniform ordering, inventory, and distribution for team members
- Assist with internal projects, process improvements, and event planning as needed
- Occasionally assist in the restaurant or drive-thru to serve guests during peak hours or special events
- Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the People & Support Director or Owner/Operator
- Flexibility to take on new responsibilities as the business evolves to meet operational and organizational needs
