Senior Facilities Specialist

Your Job Molex Fremont is seeking a Senior Facilities Specialist to oversee both general and detailed facility maintenance, as well as ensure safety compliance. Our Team Molex possesses a rich heritage in the optical industry.

In Molex Fremont, we serve global clients in telecom and datacom industries in providing next generation optical modules to support 5G Networks.
We are developing optical alignment techniques and opto-mechanical assemblies for optical products. What You Will Do * Building Operations: Oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. * Safety & Security: Manage fire drills, security programs, and emergency response plans. * Space Planning: Coordinate office layouts, workspace utilization, and employee relocations. * Cost Management: Monitor energy consumption and manage vendor contracts to optimize operating costs. * Facility Services: Oversee janitorial, catering, and technical support services to ensure a positive workplace experience. * Environmental Compliance: Manage waste disposal, recycling programs, and environmental initiatives. * Grounds Maintenance: Coordinate landscaping and site upkeep. * Procurement & Payments: Manage purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely processing and payment to avoid late fees or service disruptions. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Supervisory or team leadership experience What Will Put You Ahead * Associate Degree or higher * Experience with building systems and facilities maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems) * Experience in facilities management, workplace services, or office operations. * Experience with procurement, invoice processing, and vendor management systems. For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
