Job description

We are seeking a dynamic sales support specialist with string customer service skills.

$22.00-$25.00

Position Summary

Provides responsive customer and technical support to customers and end users while assisting the Sales team and other departments with administrative, order-processing, and operational needs. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, accurate data management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and maintain information in company systems by transferring data from paper documents and other sources using keyboards, scanners, and related data-entry tools.
  • Receive and process customer orders, including preparing sales documentation, providing pricing and credit information, and gathering applicable credit references and sales tax details for new and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing and management to establish and communicate estimated delivery dates based on production capacity and current delivery schedules.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for customer questions, concerns, and routine issues, working to resolve problems or escalate them to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Prepare, organize, update, and maintain customer, sales, and operational records and related documentation.
  • Process miscellaneous accounts receivable adjustment invoices and provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and Accounting team with collection efforts.
  • Review invoices and inventory-related data entries for accuracy and address discrepancies as needed.
  • Provide backup and cross-functional assistance to other positions and departments, with a primary focus on supporting Sales operations.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience performing accurate, high-volume data entry with a typing speed of at least 65 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with touch-typing techniques is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets, databases, and business management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Comfortable operating standard office equipment, computers, and related hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability, initiative, sound judgment, and strategic thinking while maintaining a strong commitment to safety,
