RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PROGRAM COUNSELOR: Create positive lasting memories for each child, each day.Must be able to get bus driver certified and be able to drive a minibus.Lead children through fun interactive activates such as arts & crafts, gym games and so much more. *This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Possess mature judgment and sound decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively with members, peers, and supervisor. Ability to effectively communicate information on YMCA Child Care Programs. Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency.
