Job description: Technical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing application in high speed rotating equipment is required. Specific experience in machine tool service or machining / grinding is highly desired. *General Position Responsibilities:* * Oversee and direct all functions of service facility * Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians as direct reports * Coordinate with Midwest Service Center to balance workload and direct repairs to the facility that can perform the repair most efficiently * Support Sales with guidance and technical expertise to answer questions and provide cost and schedule estimates * Provide guidance on spindle cause of failure and potential improvements * Review and finalize spindle evaluation reports - Determine repair costs of both purchased components and repair labor to formulate quotes * Schedule and assign spindle repairs to Repair Technicians in keeping with their experience and proficiency * Review and evaluate Final Repair Reports and spindle repairs to ensure that all was completed to standards and spindle will perform for the customer Qualifications: Technical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing application in high-speed rotating equipment is Highly Desired.
