Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid 24 days per month on-site (office work, team meetings, and possible project walkdowns)

- Pay Rate: $46.00$50.00 / Hour (USD)
- Travel Requirements: Once or twice per engagement period for team meetings and possible project walkdowns. Approved work-related travel and training expenses may be reimbursed with prior manager approval.

Job Summary
This position will function as a Real Estate Technical Specialist (RETS) supporting project financial controls, governance, and reporting within a large California-based energy utility organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial and Project Controls
- Provide budget and forecast oversight to support alignment between approved funding, current forecasts, commitments, and actual costs.
- Create, maintain, and update project records in FRISBE.
- Manage SAP Planning Orders and Specific Orders, including applicable order attributes and settlement rules.
- Support the Project Stage Gate Authorization and Project Financial Authorization processes.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of job estimates, authorization packages, financial records, and supporting documentation.
- Populate and reconcile actual cost data within applicable forecasting and reporting tools.
- Identify budget, forecast, commitment, and actual-cost variances and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate project stakeholders.
Governance and Compliance
- Support compliance with established Project Management procedures and financial governance requirements.
- Assist with Project and Program Authorization, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Actual and Payment Application, and Integrated Change Control processes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, approvals, and change-control logs.
- Monitor assigned projects for data quality, process compliance, and completion of required monthly activities.
Reporting
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report project budget, forecast, commitment, accrual, and actual-cost information.
- Administer the monthly project accrual process through Smartsheet and support the posting of Goods Receipt in Progress entries.
- Prepare Portfolio Executive Reports, spend reports, purchase-order commitment reports, and other recurring project-control reports.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of CapEx report updates.
- Complete monthly Data Quality Assurance activities to help ensure project reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Planners, Project Controls, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve reporting or data discrepancies.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Local candidates only must be within the service territory.
- Role is hybrid with 24 on-site days per month encompassing office work, team meetings, and possible project walkdowns.
- PPE (clothing and shoes) must be provided by the vendor/supplier. Suppliers must be prepared to provide hard hat, vest, and goggles if needed.
- Equipment: Personal or vendor-provided cell phone required. Client will provide a laptop; in the event of major laptop delays, the vendor must provide a device until the client laptop is ready. External monitors must be provided by the vendor. Any other home office tools must be provided by the vendor.
