The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and technical skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Success in this role requires strong judgment, partnership, technical capability, the ability to communicate clearly with partners at different levels of the organization, and a continuous improvement mindset. It is a strong opportunity for an analytically minded individual contributor to make a visible impact on Inventory Operations through both execution and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct root cause analysis and evaluate trends to identify issues, improve workflows, and support business decisions
  • Translate findings into clear recommendations and practical solutions for business partners and leaders
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, improve visibility, and reduce manual effort
  • Design and support automation and reporting solutions that strengthen operational consistency and scalability
  • Develop and maintain analytical datasets, reporting structures, and business intelligence assets that support decision-making
  • Create and maintain documentation for key reporting and automation processes
  • Support the transition of reporting, dashboards, and analytics to modern data platforms such as Snowflake/GCP and other cloud-based environments
  • Leverage tools including SQL, Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Power Query, and VBA to strengthen reporting and workflow capabilities
  • Design and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that make insights clear, accessible, and actionable
  • Continuously improve reporting solutions based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs
  • Partner across Inventory Operations and with cross-functional teams to support operational priorities, strategic initiatives, and reporting needs
  • Manage incoming analytical and reporting requests by identifying the underlying business need and determining the most effective solution
  • Support pilots, business cases, reporting transitions, and initiative execution through data-driven analysis and recommendations
  • Build business understanding through stakeholder engagement, field perspective, and ongoing learning about store and operational workflows
  • Share best practices and provide guidance related to analytics tools, reporting design, automation, and data interpretation
  • Support training, knowledge transfer, and adoption of analytical capabilities across the team
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, or equivalent, in developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries and analytical solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Snowflake/GCP, cloud-based data environments, or modern enterprise analytics platforms
  • 1+ years of experience developing reporting automation, workflow automation, or process improvement solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access
  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and ThoughtSpot, including the ability to create effective dashboards and data visualizations
  • Advanced proficiency with analytical and reporting tools used for data extraction, reporting, automation, and workflow improvement, including SQL, Power Query, VBA, and business intelligence platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with multiple levels of leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor technical and business information to different audiences
